Download windows installer (all-in-one-package):

- With Qemu Guest (linux emulator)

- With ASA Firewall

- With Wireshark (built-in)

1. Go to Edit, then Preference, Dynamips, click Test.

2. Go to Edit, then IOS images and Hypervisors, then select ios image files, set minimum RAM, then save.

3. Close everything, then drag the router to GNS3, then right click, start, console.

4. When finished booting, right click again, choose idlepc.

5. Wait for it to load, then select an idlepc value that has an asterisk (If no * then retry idlepc or select value near 50).

6. Close GNS3. The next time you use that router, idlepc is already saved so no need to reapply idlepc.
